Beijing Dance Academy

Beijing Dance Academy (Beijing Dancing Academy) is located in Beijing Haidian District, is a new Chinese established the first professional dance education in Colleges and universities, known as the "cradle of dancers".

Beijing Dance Academy was founded in 1954, the beginning of the Beijing dance school; in 1978, formally approved the establishment of Beijing Dance Academy by the Ministry of culture in 1999, won the dance; the right to grant master's degree; in 2005, obtained master of Arts (MFA) degree granting; in 2010, a joint training doctoral graduate college and Peking University; in 2012, with Central Conservatory of Music joint training of master.

As of 2014 December, the school covers an area of 57333 square metres (86 acres); under the 15 teaching institutions, offer 5 undergraduate professional; has a staff of more than 500 people, including 22 professors, 330 full-time teachers, the subtropical high over the technical titles 95 people; there are full-time students and about 3500 people in more than 400 students, the school of continuing education people.
